Agriculture sector plays a central role in Pakistan's Economy. It is the second largest sector, accounting for over 21 percent of GDP and remains to be by far the largest employer, absorbing 45 percent of the country's total labour force. Nearly 62 percent of the country's population resides in rural areas and is directly or indirectly linked with agriculture for their livelihood. It is a large market for agriculture products such as fertilizer ,pesticides, micronutrients, tractors and agricultural implements. According to sources, the market for agricultural inputs reaches over Rs. 2,000 billion per annum including live stock. However, this market is predominantly unstructured and fragmented, resulting in this proportionate prices gain with exploitation of the end user (farmer).

Agrow Limited aims at bridging this gap by providing the basic inputs of Agriculture through one stop solution by setting up Rural Retail Outlets (Agrow Centers) under the name Agrow. The basic idea behind this project is to facilitate this sector through organized distribution, an effective supply chain mechanism, ensuring the product availability with high quality at right prices under one roof. The organization aims at transforming the market to improve the productivity of the farmers through technical advisory and product support including the convenience factor of location along with selling household items and fuel services.
